Education Minister Nick Kuman cannot go and recruit expatriate teachers while our national teachers are suffering after their hard work.
Minister Kuman should look into the national teachers’ affairs first before looking for expatriate teachers to recruit.
Expatriates will be paid much more than national teachers.
Every year, the University of Goroka and other teachers’ colleges produce enough teachers for much of our need, but because the government has failed to look after their welfare, teachers leave the service.
