Look into school’s issues

Letters

EVEDAHANA Primary School students are being taught poor English. This school should be carefully inspected and improved in accordance with the national education policies.
The punctuality of teachers is a big concern.
Parents have been complaining about teachers turning up late for classes.
The teachers lack the content-knowledge of the subjects being taught.
They lack skills in disciplining students which results in students speaking Tok Pisin freely.
Students in cities have the advantage to be taught better than those in rural areas.
I call upon the inspector and the head teacher of the school to intervene and address these issues.
