Lower income tax

PAPUA New Guinea currently pays the highest income tax in the world.
Politicians and the people are complaining about corruption in the public service.
These corrupt acts include official corruption, stealing, misuse and misappropriation of funds etc.
With the high personal income tax being imposed public servants are left with only a little to take home, this creates a high level of temptation among public servants to steal money from the government.
The only way to minimise this is to lower the high income tax paid.
Only when that happens, corrupt deals in the public service will be minimised
