THE Malaysian Association of Papua New Guinea has started a website (www.mapng.com) to serve  Malaysian citizens  in the country.
Association chairman Nathaniel Ho said the website would provide a more convenient way of information dissemination and to facilitate dialogue among its members and MAPNG officials.
The website contains information on the association’s events and activities and is linked to the official website of the Malaysian High Commission.
It is designed and being maintained by Software Alliance.
Malaysian High Commissioner and association patron Datin Seri Blanche Olbery, at the launching, said she hoped the site would promote bilateral business, trade and investment opportunities between PNG and Malaysia.
“The relationship between the two countries is developing vigorously and this website could foster greater people-to-people ties,” she said.
