MADANG has lost another long serving public servant with the passing of Bul Dulau.

Hundreds turned up last Thursday at the Madang Airport to receive the body of Dulau, who died at the Port Moresby General Hospital the previous Friday.

Dulau had worked for more than 20 years as a public servant and was assistant registrar of the Co-operative Society of Papua New Guinea before he became ill.

He was originally from Warai, Raicoast, but settled on Kranget Island  in Madang. His brother, Martin Dulau, said his late brother was a humble public servant and had served the province with his heart and his family and the Bel community were proud of him.

“He was a friend to all and enemy to none who put God first, work second and family last.

“He was a dedicated public servant,” Dulau said.

Madang deputy provincial administrator Galun Kasas thanked the Bel community and the late Dulau’s family for supporting him when he served as a public servant.
