Madang hosts Lutheran students’ Easter camp

Madang Lutheran students is hosting the national Lutheran students’ Easter Bible camp at Tusbab Secondary School this weekend with the theme: Liberated by God’s grace (Romans 23:1-2)
Tusbab was supposed to host the camp last year but it was cancelled after the collapse of Banab Bridge.
The camp will start on Friday and will end on Sunday.
“We are expecting delegates coming to camp site by today and tomorrow,” said organising committee member Freda Geseng.
It is organised by student leaders from Divine Word University, Lutheran School of Nursing, Madang Teachers College, Tusbab Secondary, Madang Christian Academy and teachers from Ambarina Lutheran Primary, Good Shepherd Lutheran Secondary, Emmanuel Lutheran Congregation church leaders with the others from Madang Town Circuit.
“The programme was set for an official opening at the camp on Good Friday as inmates from Boin and Madang Lutheran students will be leading the delegates into the camp area,” Geseng said.
