MAF gets K300,000 to extend service into Middle Ramu

National

MIDDLE Ramu Electorate member Jonny Ananias has allocated K300,000 to help Mission Aviation Fellowship (MFA) in Mt Hagen.
The money would be used for flights into remote parts of Middle Ramu. Ananias said he saw the need of his people and it was best something was done to help those who were in need to access basic services in town.
He has been flying with MFA for over 20 years and he appreciated the service and collaboration.
Ananias is also supporting Rural Airstrips Association to build and maintain airstrips.
According to a statement, four new airstrips are planned for next year for use by MFA.
MAF operations director Doug Miles said the money would help them reach isolated communities.
