Make ruling with God’s help

 MEMBERS of the judiciary have been urged to allow the Holy Spirit help them reach decisions for cases  before them.

Pastor Ivan Lesley, of the Assemblies of God Movement in Wewak, East Sepik, said the law was God-sent and judges and magistrates should make judgements with God’s help.

Lesley was ministering during the 2015 legal year opening mass at the Rev Maru Memorial Church in Wewak on Monday.

His theme Abide in Me was centred on the Book of John Chapter 15 that talks about Jesus as the vine and people being the branches.

“I believe that any single institution on this planet earth cannot do anything without God because the Bible says, without him we can do nothing.

“The law we have comes from God. He gave the law to Moses to guide his people. 

“Without law there will be disorder everywhere,” Lesley said.
