Make subsidies for remote districts

Letters

I AM impressed with the Government for focusing on Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) so citizen can be self-reliant.
This is a step forward for the benefits of many people.
I salute you.
I wish to raise concerns over the freight subsidies for locally produced food.
I understand the Government allocated K41.5 million to subsidies freight. And K3 million was already deposited into the Bismarck Shipping Company to execute that.
With the remaining budget, I believe there are plans to subsidies other transport companies for the same purpose.
Therefore, I wish to appeal to the Government to make it their next priority to subsidies MAF so people from remote areas, especially Kovon and Simbai in remote Middle Ramu, can bring their produce to sell at nearby markets as Mt Hagen (Western Highland).
