Makerupu gears up

MAKERUPU’S sports celebration will come alive during this festive season embracing all the families and clans in the village from Dec 26-31.
Makerupu Sports Festival founder Scott Vavine is excited about this event saying that it has changed the mindset of individuals in their families and clans to create a better community.
The clans include Paugolo, Wagurigolo, Palaurupu and Rigorupu.
This year, the Paugolo clan has been mandated to host to the event.
Preparations have been under progressing well and Vavine said the organisers would finalise sports competitions, teams, venues and prizes by the end of the week.
