Making changes for the country

Letters

IT is fascinating to watch our country trying to deal with the issues and problems it has been facing in recent times.
We pass the blame from citizens to leaders and from Opposition to the Government, pointing fingers at those we believe are responsible for the problems or evils in society.
Change in a country begins with one person.
But you cannot give the country peace and wellbeing unless you have conquered them in your own life. If we really want our country to change, we as individuals need to change our attitude first.
Individuals make a family unit, families make a community and communities make a country, so only when an individual has been successful in making changes at a personal level, can he or she try and change the country.
