POLICE have arrested a Malaysian man and charged him with misappropriation involving one million Tzen Niugini Ltd company shares and three counts of false pretence, forgery and uttering involving another associated company, Tzen Plantation Ltd.
Police said in a statement yesterday that Ling Koh Woo, from Sarawak, Malaysia, was interviewed at the National Fraud and Anti-Corruption office in Konedobu before being charged.
Police were acting on a complaint laid by a Malaysian director of both companies, Lim Soon Foo.
Woo was taken to the Boroko police station and placed in the cells after he was charged.
Bail has been refused.
