MALAYSIAN High Commissioner to PNG Datin Seri Blanche Olbery paid a farewell visit to Governor-General Sir Michael Ogio last Friday before leaving the country on June 29.
Olbery said it was a privilege and honour to visit the governor-general on June 21, the day that marked her fourth year in the country.
“I am completing my mission as the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Papua New Guinea, accredited to Vanuatu and Solomon Islands in eight days, June 29,” she said.
“I believe there is a tremendous potential that the scope of governmental co-operation between Malaysia and Papua New Guinea could be further explored and widened.
Sir Michael thanked Olbery on behalf of the PNG Government.
