SERVANTS of St Joseph Sisters last Friday received food donations from the Malaysian Association of Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby.
Association president and manager of RH Hyper market Ang Cheng Chooi said they were donating the food to the organisation be used in carrying out their
ministry.
The association gives out such donations monthly to charitable organisations to support them in carrying out their work for people with special needs.
They include the Tembari Children, missionaries and City Mission.
Sr Carmen Evalles said the rations would be equally distributed to different groups of people who were part of the ministry they were carrying out.
It includes mothers of Buriganah Catholic parish in Rigo district, of Central, and the literacy school at Laloki Goilala community at 9 Mile.
“We also share such gifts with our neighbourhood who are hungry and have no food,” Evalles
said.
