Man arrested over death

 POLICE have arrested a man who allegedly killed his father who had tried to intervene in an argument with his sister.

They said the man, 22, allegedly struck his father with a kitchen knife when he tried to stop a row with his sister at the Ranuguri settlement.

Police arrested three men in Port Moresby for being in possession of homebrew. The three were from Badihagwa in Hanuabada.

Police on Lihir reported that 21-year-old man was arrested at Lienbel village after a fight ended in one man being killed.

Police said the man was drinking with his three brothers when an argument broke out.

He allegedly used a piece of timber to hit the man on the head and kicked him in the stomach.
