Man back in jail for no show in court

 A MAGISTRATE has remanded a man in custody after he failed to appear in court since last month to answer a charge of dangerous driving causing injuries.

The man had been on bail after allegedly causing injuries to another man through his driving in Port Moresby last year.

Magistrate Mekeo Gauli ordered Solomon Yaka’s K500 bail be forfeited and remanded him in custody because he was “confused and could not locate the court house in Waigani”.
