A JUDGE has found a man guilty of intent to defraud K120,000 belonging to PNG Electoral Commission after using multiple identities of a dead man to open a bank account,
Acting Judge Nicholas Miviri, in the Waigani National Court yesterday, found Joseph Ande, originally from Western Highlands, guilty of impersonation, applying dishonesty, misappropriation and intent to defraud.
The court found Ande guilty of using a false driver’s licence that identified him as Thomas Martin to open a Westpac Choice account between June 1, 2015, and Jan 7, 2017.
