Man in court for abusing daughter

National

A MAN appeared in the Waigani Committal Court accused of abusing his five-year-old daughter for about a year by performing oral sex on her on several occasions.
The accused, from Banz in Jiwaka, allegedly started abusing her from January last year until early this year when his wife caught him and reported the matter to police.
Magistrate Cosmas Bidar allowed him bail to attend court, saying “he has not been convicted yet and has the right to bail”.
The accused was a health worker with Child Fund.
His lawyer said he had to get bail because he was employed and had many TB patients he needed to take care of.
He also submitted that the wife of the accused was unemployed and she was not capable of taking care of their family on her own.
Bidar adjourned the case.

  • This is the result of smart phones reducing humans to animals.
This animal has even a very stupid lawyer representing him. The animal has not denied the charges. His family unit is in disarray. It would not be long before he started treating inmates with TB in prison.
This dog when convicted will never get a formal job after his jail term.
He should be given life-sentence so he should take care of prisoners in jail for the rest of his life. I am sure some hardcore will give him a taste of his own medicine.
