Manus centre has been nothing but trouble

I TOTALLY agree with the decision taken by Planning Minister Charles Abel to have the Manus Detention Centre closed in October this year.
What good has the detention centre benefited the people of Manus and Papua New Guinea as a whole?
The Manus Detention Centre has been problematic for the country since it was established several years ago.
It has encountered problems such sexual assaults, rape and alcohol abuse.
A positive way to address these problems is to shut the detention centre and send all asylum seekers to Australia or back to where they came from.
