Many faulty vehicles despite road safety checks

THERE are many roadblocks by road safety officers  but nothing much has improved or changed.

There are still vehicles on the road with defective lights, bald tyres and no rear-view mirrors.

The officer in charge of this particular department has  to  supervise  his  staff on how checks are done.

A  simple way to start is to ground unworthy vehicles and penalise the vehicle owners with fines.

Something  must also  be done about vehicles that park on the side of main roads instead of proper car parks.
