Marape in SI for state visit

PRIME Minister James Marape has arrived in Honiara, Solomon Islands, with a business delegation representing the public and private sectors.
Owners of PNG businesses in the Solomon Islands and those wanting to invest there are accompanying Marape.
He was welcomed at the airport by his Solomon Islands counterpart Manasseh Sogavare, Acting PNG High Commissioner to the Solomon Islands Dr John Balavu and its High Commissioner to PNG Barnabas Anga. Marape later paid a courtesy call on Governor-General Sir David Vunagu, before a state dinner.
Marape is meeting Sogavare today, followed by the Solomon Islands and PNG bilateral meeting.
The PNG business delegation will meet the members of the Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Marape will attend a church service with Sogavare tomorrow before returning to Papua New Guinea.
