Marape right to switch camp

I TAKE this opportunity to applaud the change of heart by Tari-Pori MP James Marape.
The move to the government benches must be  applauded when we
are at the crossroads with so much happening in Hela.
Being the chairman of HTA requires more upfront work prior to the coming election.
This requires a very close working relationship with Peter O’Neill as he is the CEO of PNG and directly impacts the chairmanship of HTA.
There is a lot of political infighting and absolutely nothing to show for it on the ground.
SHP MPs should work towards a common goal and that is to bring services that are lacking.
You have your brother who is the prime minister of this country, so why waste your time?
Although Marape’s move may be a little late, it is a step in the right direction and he must be commended as the only MP who has the heart for the people of Hela.
I would like to remind the people of Hela to be cautious when going to the polls as none of the current Hela MPs, including the SHP governor, have stood up for Hela.
They have left us to fend for ourselves all along.
