Marat an example to all

I EXPRESS my gratitude to Dr Allan Marat for accepting
defeat during elimination and
losing the Rabaul seat by three votes.
This is an example to other sitting members and candidates contesting various seats in the General Election 2022 throughout the country.
Regardless of the common roll and counting issues encountered country wide, candidates should show maturity and true
leadership by accepting
defeat and bow out gracefully without challenging the election process and inciting supporters
to cause violence, damage or
burn government or public property.
This should be a learning example to other provinces and candidates.
