Marawake needs a road

Letters

THIS is to the elite leaders of Marawaka, including local bureaucrats in the private and public sector in the country, to come and work with the community.
For more than 40 years, we have seen no development – no road accessibility, proper law and order implementation and improved health and education.
We expect our leaders to spend time with the community seeking people’s opinion on strategies to improve Marawaka but that hasn’t happened.
Many of our highly qualified public servants are filled with pride and boast about the position they hold but have done nothing in the community.
You are not a true leader.
It is sad to see such educated elites having nothing to show in society – you are all talk and no action.

  • I was not agree with the title appear with spelling error. Instead of Marawaka, it miss spelled as Marawake. The title was not appropriate to the article which should be as ‘ Marawaka needs Improvement’ simply imply for collaboration from local beuaracrates. This title’ Marawaka needs Road’ should be referred to the article mailed 15 August (title: Road accessibility is vital for service delivery) and re-edit title of the article ‘ Road maintenance needed’. This is for identification purposes of origin (Marawaka).

    Thanks for understanding.
    Best regards.
