Maritime authority staff get uniforms

STAFF of the National Maritime Safety Authority (NMSA) can now promote their corporate identity through their new uniforms.
Chief executive officer Paul Unas made the remark during the official launch of the uniforms earlier this month.
Unas said the uniforms would identify NMSA employees associated with the authority.
“These new uniforms will help to brand NMSA by distinguishing the organisation from other statutory authorities,” he said.
“Consistency in employee appearance creates a positive impression on the employees and contribute to improved work output and productivity.”
Unas said the uniforms were in line with NMSA’s corporate plan to build a safe and productive environment.
