Flies five-eighth Mala Mark scored seven tries and kicked nine conversions for a record individual haul of 46 points.
Mark was a one-woman assault team proving too fast, skillful and tactically proficient for the brave but underwhelming Souths women.
But a Flies was always on the cards heading into the clash with Souths having lost all their games so far but an average margin of 30 points.
Credit to Souths for refusing to give up during the 40-minute fixture.
Mark scored four tries in the first half and three in the second stanza mostly by using her great footwork to step past defenders and excellerating to beat the cover.
The Flies other try-scorers were Shima Leo, Ronda William, Jenny John (2), Natalie Paya and Cathy Neap while John added a goal.
Souths coach Dominic Milfred was disappointed with the margin but not with his side’s effort.
