Markham fans to get behind Hills

Normal, Sports

THE National Soccer League supporters from Markham, Morobe province,  are expected to come in numbers to witness their local boys in action when Gelle Hills take on Tukoko University at Sir Ignatius Kilage stadium tomorrow.
Fullback Bofeng Garambini, striker Billy Kapuk and winger Frank Giasa will lead the Hills attack against their Morobeen wantoks Gigira Laitepo FC.
University Inter FC manager John Yamin  was instrumental in securing the boys to sign up with the Hills.
Hills striker Kapuk should be the major drawcard for this match.
His goal scoring skills and speed will certainly cause havoc in the Morobe defence.
Morobe, after their 3-0 thrashing by Hekari, will have to pick up the pieces to come back strongly against the visitors.
Team Manager Stanley Khanna said the result was disappointing for the team and the province.
“We are recovering from the defeat and will win this match against Gelle Hills,” he said.
In the other match, University Inter FC should beat Besta PNG United while in Madang, Niupetro Fox of Madang should humble CMSS Tigers.
Tigers have the players to win the match.
Under coaches Bob Morris and John Gringo, Madang will have the home ground advantage for a positive result.
Against Gelle Hills, Madang duo Terence Bandi and Rudolf Gule are sending signals to selectors that they are available for selection if their goals from last Saturday were any indication.
