Marles and envoys meet PM in Perth

PRIME Minister Peter O’Neill arrived in Perth, Australia, yesterday for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
He was met by the Australian parliamentary secretary for Pacific Islands Affairs Richard Marles, PNG High Commissioner to Australia Charles Lepani and PNG High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Israel and Zimbabwe Winnie Kiap were at the Perth International Airport.
O’Neill was escorted to the Pan Pacific Hotel where he will be staying for the three-day conference at the Perth Convention and Entertainment Centre.
Later yesterday, O’Neill met with Australian opposition leader Tony Abbott and was to have attended a reception on “Empowering women to lead” hosted by the Australian governor-general.
