THE people of Yangoru-Saussia must be commended for a trouble-free polls.
I congratulate Richard Maru for winning the seat.
With his experience in the corporate sector and being given the trade ministry, I believe we are in good hands.
I call on him to use his knowledge, skills and experience to develop the electorate as it has some of the worse social indicators in the country.
The outreach programmes such as didiman and mobile maternal child health clinics have come to a standstill and the feeder roads in the electorate have deteriorated.
The people can improve their quality of life if only they can sell their crops and garden produce to bring in much-needed money.
I am confident that Maru will implement economic activities that can generate income for the people.
I urge all losing candidates to support Maru and work together to develop our electorate.
