CONGRATULATIONS to the people of Talasea electorate for re-electing Francis Marus.
Marus is a young leader and has been voted back to parliamennt because of his efforts  to deliver services to the  people.
Despite being an MP for the first time, he was made deputy speaker.
I believe he will continue to serve his people of Talasea electorate because he served his ap-prenticeship during his term in parliament.
Marus said his campaign that he hopes to one day be parliamentary speaker.
I hope that happens  as he did a good job when when the speaker was absent.
Sitting MPs do not necessarily need to campaign because projects and programmes initiated during their last term of parliament should determine whether or not the people want them back.
