Masthead comp prize helps winner pay school fees
THE winner of The National’s masthead competition in the Highlands region plans to use the K250 prize money to pay his children’s school project fees.
Jonah Peter, who has eight children, is from Enga but has been living in Mt Hagen, Western Highlands.
“I have K200 in outstanding project fees. With the K250 that I won, I will pay off the project fees,” he said.
He has been a regular reader of The National because it is educational, informative, and up-to-date with the news.
It was the second time he entered the competition.
“It’s a blessing for me,” he said.
The newspaper is giving away K1000 every week to readers in the four regions.
