Medicine contract

Letters

NEWS that the Parliamentary Public Accounts Committee (PAC) will look into the awarding of the K100 million medicines contract to Borneo Pacific Pharmaceuticals Ltd is welcomed.
However from past experiences, the PAC has been used and seen only as a rubber stamp of the government to quell rising public opinions and outcry on national issues .
Let’s hope that the Sir John Pundari lead PAC will not be seen as another rubber stamp.
The committee should investigate this corrupt contract without any fear or favour and those who are implicated in any corrupt dealings should be dealt with appropriately to restore the integrity of the PAC and public confidence.
Please PAC maintain your integrity and honour.

Andie, POM
