Meeting for sports officials

THERE will be a meeting for all provincial team managers with their respective tournament directors for the various sporting codes.
PNG Games sports director John Paliau said the meeting would provide team coaches/managers some information on new sporting rules for the respective codes and appointment of an appeals committee.
He said it was important that all coaches/managers take note and attend the meeting.
Paliau said yesterday that taekwondo, kickboxing, touch would meet with the tournament director at 9am at PNG Institute of Public Administration (PNGIPA) while darts would meet at 10am at Sports Inn.
Volleyball and soccer will hold their meeting with their respective tournament directors at 10am at the PNGIPA while lawn bowls and basketball should see their directors at Murray Barracks while bodybuilding meet at 10am at Sir John Guise indoor complex.
On Friday, the tournament director will be meeting with the netball coaches and managers at 10am at the Rita Flynn Courts while hockey officials will meet at 1pm at the Sir John Guise indoor complex.
Tickets for the opening and closing ceremony are now on sale.
Tickets for the outer stands are going for K15 for adults and K10 for children Grandstand including a pass to all games venue is going for K200.
The tickets are now on sale at all City Pharmacy Limited supermarkets, Brian Bells outlets, Trophy Haus and Stop & Shop supermarkets.
