Mendani isolated

Letters

IT seems that Kerema MP Richard Mendani wants to promote himself in the media even though he has nothing good to offer the people of his district and the rest of Gulf.
Instead of rubbing shoulders with the prime minister and taking some responsibilities, he has isolated himself from addressing the district and national issues and not supporting Governor Chris Haiveta, resulting in his expulsion from the Provincial Executive Council for his non-attendance of important meetings. It is clear that the MP is working in isolation.
The people of Kerema Open electorate will now have 10 years without vital services for the two terms Mendani will be in Parliament.
Kaintiba district’s voting population has been electing representatives but they continue to suffer the most and this has affected other districts in the electorate because elected representative do not meet the people’s expectations.
I will appeal again to the people of Kaintiba that they should choose carefully in the next election and change the leadership.
We can improve the lives of our people in the districts if we have the right people and all elected leaders, both in the national and provincial level, focus on improving services.
