Mendi trouble and rule of law

It is unfortunate that there was trouble in Mendi because the court ruled against an election petition by Joseph Kobol challenging the election of Governor William Powi.
This country is administered by an elected Government which is guided by our Constitution. Everyone answers to the same laws.
The incident in Mendi should not have happened if the people responsible understood the laws and how they were applied to our everyday life.
