Mendi violence

Letters

THE recent riot in Mendi resulting in the destruction of State assets is a sign that SHP wants to surrender the prime ministership.
By their actions they have shown total disrespect to the people of Papua New Guinea.
The people of SHP should express remorse and do custom to contribute their own personal money per head to help the purchase of a replacement aircraft and rebuild the courthouse and other damaged State properties.
In PNG, there seems to be lack of ownership of public property and patriotism.
The culprits can still be brought to justice, but first let’s rebuild PNG.
