Mid-year sale helps tenants boost sales
THE Vision City mid-year sale last week has been a great opportunity for tenants to move stocks and boost sales, marketing manager Maureen Esta says.
“CHM extended their booth in the main entrance to Sunday (July 21) and offered great discounts to customers,” she said.
The mid-year sale ran from July 17-21 with daily winners for Huawei “sporty gift bundle” and the grand draw was announced on Sunday.
Esta said Danny Baro won the Sony Bravia 48” inch smart TV and Carolyn Kumul won the Sony extra bass hi-fi System.
“The winners were both happy to receive their prizes,” she said.
“Both of them had purchases of K100 or more were lucky enough to be picked on Sunday.”
The mid-year sale last week gave customers the opportunity to purchase goods up to 80 per cent off the regular price.
Esta said major shops namely Star Office Works, CHM, Mark’s Cherish Boutique, Fone Haus, Aillia, Trophy Haus, The Stadium and 2 Fast Motors had participated.
She said during the five-day period, there was an on-going sale with discounted items from their range with stalls and booths set up near the main entrance.
Esta said there would be more events happening this year in the mall such as the upcoming Independence Day celebration, the launch of the Vision City Gift Card, PNG Fashion Week in October and more activities and promotions planned for the Christmas season.
