Miles United gets new gear from sponsor

MILES United received new men’s and women’s jerseys earlier this week for their Lae Rugby League campaign.
United president Mike Alex said Raumai 18 Limited presented the jerseys as the club’s sponsor for the last four years.
“On behalf of Miles United, we are thankful to Raumai 18 for the new sets of jerseys,” he said.
“The jerseys will boost our confidence as we head into round two of the competition. Raumai 18 has been supportive of us for four years now.
“Through such help, we are able to expose more talents and keep the youths away from illegal activities.”
Alex said his players were from between Two-Mile and 14-Mile.
“We select players from these areas to form our teams,” he said.
“We are confident of making it through to the final.
“Such support will motivate us to play stronger.”
