ONE hundred and-twenty students from the Kuli Catholic Technical Vocational Education Training (TVet) Centre in Jiwaka graduated with certificates in tourism and hospitality and basic computing last Tuesday.
They were part of the other 48 students who have graduated in carpentry and motor vehicle mechanics.
The centre was established in 1967 and this was the first time the school had graduates in tourism and hospitality and basic computing.
With limited resources, the school was offering only carpentry and motor vehicle mechanic courses until this year.
Centre manager Steward Lupain said technical education was important and that was why those who were graduating would help do a lot for the country.
