Military teams share skills, experiences, cultures in exercise

AN Australian Defence Force logistics training team is in Port Moresby to take part in a logistic exercise with the Papua New Guinea Defence Force.
Exercise Logi Tura is a bilateral arrangement between the two armed forces in the exchange of skills, experiences and cultures of logistics.
The Defence Force media unit said in a statement, Exercise Logi Tura would be conducted at the force support battalion at Murray Barracks .
It said three combat support services battalion logistics training teams were deployed for the first time and would focus on mentoring local soldiers.
“The key logistical areas where they will focus on are the supply, workshop, transport and medical sections of the force,” the statement said.
Exercise Logi Tura started last week and will end on Oct 21.
