THE Milne Bay community is expected to have a better access to justice following the establishment of permanent legal services office in the province funded by the Australian and  and Milne Bay government.

The Milne Bay provincial government on Monday handed over two staff houses to the Office of the Public Prosecutor and the Public Solicitor’s Office to house staff of both agencies.

The handover follows the recent establishment of other legal buildings in Alotau – the Court House and the refurbishment of the Office of the Public Prosecutor – both completed last year, through the PNG-Australia Law and Justice Partnership (PALJP).
