Mining lease needs not be rushed

WE the landowners of the region where the proposed bauxite mine is going to operate want developer Cheroch Mining Limited to do a proper feasibility study of the ore body including environmental and social mapping before a mining lease is granted.
Cheroch should not try and bulldoze its way through to gain a lease.
This will be the only message during Warden’s Hearing on March 27/28.
