Minister causing confusion

The saga on the vegetable ban has now settled with the relaxation of the ban by the Agriculture and Livestock Minister Tommy Tomscol after much outcry from the business community and the general public. And now we are into the 2016 school project fees saga. On the last week of January, Education Minister Nick Kuman took out a full-page advertisement announcing that schools can charge project fees. Then on the first week of February, Acting Education Secretary Dr Uke Kombra, made a “u” turn advising all schools not to charge projects fees until Cabinet discussed the matter. The confusion resulted in many parents already paying project fees. I wonder if some ministers really know what they are doing when they are creating chaos with their conflicting decisions.
