Minister pays up

 HEALTH Minister and Moresby North-West MP Michael Malabag has honoured a commitment of K20,000 to the West Jokers Basketball Club.

The club plays in the semi-professional Papua New Guinea Men’s Basketball League in Port Moresby.

The money was com­mitted during the launching of the West Jokers club at the Grand Papua Hotel early this year.

West Jokers franchise owner Konio Aila thanked Malabag for the sponsorship. 

The money will be used for the administration of the club and to finance training venues.
