Mintt announces launch of brand in Australia

MOBILE phone company Mintt, a supplier of smartphones and tech devices in Papua New Guinea, has officially launched its brand in Australia earlier this month sponsoring The Block 2019 series on Channel Nine.
The Block, a reality TV show based in Melbourne’s St Kilda this season, features five couples renovating a building in competition, to transform into the most valuable real estate.
Contestants of the show have been using Mintt smartphones for the last 13 weeks to ensure shopping, banking, styling, renovating, ordering, talking and sharing of ideas was achieved to enable them to live their dreams of winning competition which includes cash and prizes.
Mintt smartphones were chosen because of their great features, particularly the large screen size, great cameras and their ability to handle tough conditions 24-hours-a-day, combined with outstanding services.
Mintt general manager Damian Ames, during a press conference yesterday, said they were excited to be launching into Australia enabling the use of smart phones and tech devices in a large market.
Ames said it was the first time Mintt had been a sponsor of any programme into Australia and his team in PNG had been working hard to be ready for their Australian roll out.
He said he and his team were confident that the same phones they sold in PNG would also do well in Australia.
