DEFENDING premiers Agmark Gurias are one win away from the bemobile Cup grand final after handling Toyota Mioks 20-4 yesterday at Lloyd Robson Oval in Port Moresby.

The New Guinea Islanders posted their first point in the 3rd minute from a penalty goal by halfback Ase Boas.
The defending champions were on the board again in the 9th minute when centre Jeffrey Vineval scored a converted try to put them 8-0 ahead.
Mioks halfback Peter Peiyala scored from an intercept in the 21st minute for the Engans to trail 8-4.
Gurias held their nerve under heavy treatment from an aggressive Mioks pack to snatch their second try through centre Kevin Frank for a 12-4 halftime lead.
In the second half, Boas kicked another penalty to cushion the lead 14-4  at the 69th minute after Mioks backrower David Loko was penalised for a blatant punch in a tackle.
Although it was a tough match, the  East New Britons showed their class when Frank scored his second try of the afternoon to seal the Engan’s fate.
Boas made sure of the conversion for a 20-4 scoreline.
The Gurias will now advance to preliminary final against Muruks in Port Moresby while Mioks will play Bintangor Lahanis in the elimination final in Lae.
Lahanis came from behind to defeat SNS Port Moresby Vipers 12-8. Vipers now hang their boots for the season.
