MIRUPASI Lawyers defended the Lawyers and Accountants touch football Cup for the third time this year.
They defeated Kimbu Lawyers 6-2 in the cup final last Friday at the Lloyd Robson Oval in Port Moresby.
The annual event every November saw the Mirupasi Lawyers dominating the event with two of its team winning the cup and plate.
Corporate Touch Port Moresby organised the games that ended on a high note.
Coordinator Martin Joffey thanked the participating firms.
He said awards were presented to the cup finalists including the second and the third placing while in the plate play off, only two finalists were given awards.
“There were no bronze play off as we had to offer the first, second and third placing for the cup play offs while in the plate division, we offered only the first and second placing,” Joffey said.
Meanwhile, CTPM’s touch team who will be participating in the Australian Indigenous games on Nov 25-27 is still in need of funds to help send both the open men and mixed teams.
