A YOUNG boy under 10 years who goes by the name of Abraham Kansol, from 3-Mile in Lae, Morobe, was found in Mt Hagen, Western Highlands, last November.
Abraham is believed to be of mixed Eastern Highlands and Morobe parentage, and lives in 3-Mile, Lae.
His mother’s name is Kathy and he has three brothers and a sister.
Abraham had hopped on a PMV bus at the Eriku bus stop in Lae, and the crew, thinking Abraham was with relatives had taken him on the tulait-tulait bus all the way to Mt Hagen.
In Mt Hagen, Abraham found himself alone, with no relatives or friends and nowhere to go to.
The bus driver and crew handed him to councillor Petrus Kumi, from Ulya, in Anglimp.
Abraham has been well cared for by Kumi for the past two-and-a-half-months.
Kumi said he had tried desperately to unite
Abraham with his family at 3-Mile by placing
notices through the National Broadcasting Corporation but that had been unsuccessful.
Kumi is now appealing to anyone who might have information on Abraham’s family to contact him on  7141 3779.
