Missionaries shopping to celebrate Christmas

for the Missionaries of Charity, there are more groups to celebrate Christmas with this festive season.
Sister Anto Therese and Sister Sai Chajin Rosa were doing their Christmas shopping at the RH Supermarket in Gordon when The National caught up with them yesterday.
They are based in Hanuabada, Port Moresby.
“We are buying few things for our Christmas celebration,” Sister Therese said.
“This is just for us and the old people and sick people.”
She said they had one more celebration to do – with the old and the sick.
The centre had celebrations with other groups earlier this month.
“We had a big celebration with children at the Baruni dump,” Sister Therese said.
They visited the Laloki Psychiatric Hospital and celebrated Christmas with the patients and staff and Bomana Prison where they met with all the inmates.
Sister Therese said they also had celebrations with children from settlements.
