MOGU will be looking to spoil a possible grand final party for Ubua when the two A grade sides face off in Dabunari volleyball grand final on Saturday.
Mogu who walked over Ariva Knights in a sudden-death showdown 3-2 will be hoping they maintain the same form to beat the minor premiers.
For Ubua, they will be hoping to create history in Dabunari village as the first club to have three teams win the grand finals.
Ubua have their A, B and women’s teams in the grand final with Ubua B grade the latest inclusion after overcoming Mogu 3-1 in last Saturday’s semi-final.
The presence of David Eru and cousin brother Junior Morogu certainly paid off as the duo helped Ubua through to the decider.
In the women’s division Mogu upset Ariva 3-2 to set up an exciting showdown with Ubua.
The grand final is expected to start at noon when Ubua clash with Mogu in the women’s A division, followed by the B grade between Ubua and Ariva.
The main match will be between Ubua and Mogu with both sides hoping to be crowned the champions.
